Sue Montgomery’s life has included song for as long as she can remember.
And she has found she can’t sing a song without wanting to tell a story, and she can’t tell a story without wanting to sing a song! For the past four decades, God has allowed Sue to teach His Word to children with a heart and passion that can only come from Him. SongStory Curriculum, which uses song and story to teach foundational biblical truth in an intentional sequence, is the outcome of these ministry years.
Throughout her teaching years Sue has received requests that her original stories be made into children’s books. This endeavor began long ago with prayer, followed by hope, trust and surrender along with an enormous personal learning curve in the publishing industry. And now, Sue is releasing her first children’s book! And the King Smiled planned launch is coming this spring, surrounded by deep gratitude in the author's heart.
A wife, mom, and grammy to six, Sue enjoys gardening, reading, baking cookies, and discovering the love of Jesus that’s around her everyday.

And the King Smiled is a story about the good and beautiful relationship between a father and his little daughter, mirroring the reciprocal relationship God longs to have with us.
