My passion is teaching children to know and love God. For over 35 years I have been privileged to speak life and joy to children of all ages. I want children to understand who God is, how He loves us, and how we can love Him, too.
God keeps stoking a fire within me to write biblical curriculum centered around a child's development. I have written curriculum for Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, youth camps, as well as private schools providing relationship education.
With degrees in Child Development, Education, and Special Education, I know the importance of using methods that are appropriate to a child's age and stage of development. That's one of the reasons I love SongStory. This curriculum teaches great big truths about God, using all five aspects of learning-intellectual, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual.
As an educator with a strong background in the performing arts, I appreciate SongStory's rich content and unique features. It's been a wonderful opportunity to collaborate with such a creative artist as Sue Montgomery. She does an incredible job presenting our God to the very young in fun, imaginative ways that I heartily endorse!
These days you'll find me cheering for my favorite sports teams, creating various crafts, and enjoying the sweet birds in my yard while gardening, and of course best of all, spending as much time as I can with my grand-babies! What an absolute gift of JOY!
